I was just talking about how Jay would never jump on a record having anything to do with Khaled.....guess I was wrong haha, either way Jay-Z killed it.
In case you have been under a rock, videos have been flying back and forth between Joe Budden and Ransom?!.......(exactly, not too sure who he is either) This is the 4th video installment in this beef and Joe Budden has come equipped with something alot of rappers now a days lack....logic. I hope this ends the beef, I am actually looking forward to hearing what Ransom has to say in response...
Warner Music Group has begun to pull many of its artists' videos from video viral giant YouTube due to "stalled contract negotiations". According to reports Warner Music Group is upset over licensing fees for their artists' music and videos that end up on the site.
Basically if you are on YouTube looking for artist such as T.I., Lupe Fiasco, Plies, or Bun B, you are going to have a tough time finding them because the videos are being taken down by Warner Music Group until further notice.
I wonder how that is going to affect an artists' exposure seeing as how YouTube is such a big media outlet for consumers. Not too many ppl watch tv anymore and if you want to see a video from your favorite artist, the internet has become the number one place to find it.
K'Naan's album Great Depression coming soon. This guy is a really talented artist, he flew under my radar until I saw him perform in one of the BET Ciphers in 2008. Watch clip here
"Papa Doc" (a.k.a. Anthony Mack) haha had alot of factual things to say. He seemed kinda of mad when he was saying it.....maybe he was to involved in his character.
Just wanna give a big shout out to my boy Anthony Hamilton for his hard work and dedication when it comes to this music. Since his introduction into the music industry on JD's So So Def imprint he has created timeless music consistently. On December 16th he dropped his 5th studio album "The Point Of It All", in stores now. Support an artist who cares about his music and his fan base.
I am apologize for not posting this up for a couple of weeks, Blogger has been down so it has been hard to put up post on regular basis like I usually do but now I am back.

This is funny! Complex put together a list of shoes that made better weapons to throw at your local politicians lol. What are some shoes you felt missed the list?
I still hate to see the break up of Roc-a -fella, i think the whole situation is whack on both sides and it needs to be squashed. Both Dame Dash and Jay-Z complimented each other musically (Jay-Z) and also from a business aspect (Dame Dash). Other ppl getting involved is not helping the situation at all. They need to come back together and put the game in the chokehold like they had it in before. I am talking about Roc The Mic tours, the life chronicled in the BackStage dvd, the Black Album concert at Madison Square Garden, the close relationship of Dame and Jay-Z on the set of Girls, Girls, GIrls...........dont let money come in between friendship....
I hate to have to switch up gears like this but here it goes....this nonsense has go to stop. I wondered why no one reacted? At the same time is that what she wanted to happen?...Either way a bottle would have be thrown at least.
Honestly I dont play alot of video games but I cant lie the God Of War series is one of my favorites ones. I cant wait till this comes out. If you havent played the first two please go out and get it, and then follow it up with the third one to make the cipher complete. To the creators of God Of War...I will be waiting on my check haha.
The shoes look nice, big shout out to Em. I know that has to be a huge honor to have a shoe in the Jordan Collection. I am going to get mine one day!!!
George Bush surprised alot of ppl by moving that fast haha! The journalist could have at least connected once, cause now he lost both his shoes haha. Its funny cause if you think about it he threw two shoes back to back so that means he had to have taken both shoes of at one point during the conference.....what would your reaction be if you were sitting next to him haha?!
"Maybe you can be my intern, in turn I can show you how to cook up summer in the WINter"
That line coming from Late Registration, Kanye offers his hand to help out someone with dreams and aspirations of becoming a producer/rapper. It seems that K.West has now flipped sides and will add fashion intern to the vast amounts of hats he wears.. After expressing that he would like to just rap on weekends [click here to read] West has reportedly offered up his services for free to intern with Louis Vutton or Raf Simmons.
For those of you who dont know "Pastelle" is West own clothing line, the jacket he wore at the American Music Awards was a featured product on his line.
This is the cover for the soundtrack, not track listing just yet but when I find it I will def get it posted for ya'll. Until then, this is lead single:
It has come to my attention that R.Kelly has officially become bored with his current superstar status. If you wanna LAUGH listen to Chopped and Screwed Remix or If I Were A Boy Remix.
Apparently George Bush has decided to do something nice/productive before he left office. He as officially given John Forte a pardon for his 2001 conviction on cocaine charges. He happened to be one of 16 ppl receiving a pardon from ex prez George Bush. More on the story here.

You will be able to download the album on ThinkCommon.com on December 9, 2008.
Its hard to understand what the guy was saying but it clearly he was talking out of the side of his neck. He runs kinda fast too lol. I wonder who is going to clean up the drink that Joe Budden poured on him haha.
It appears that Donald Trump is a little upset at some of hip-hop's most prominent businessman.
Donald Trump has recently made fun of 50 Cent and Diddy for creating spin-offs of his hit show "The Apprentice". Below is a statement from Donald Trump himself
“It will fail because he’s not Trump, but he’s actually a nice guy,” he continued. “And P. Diddy did a show which, by the way, I think bombed, but it was a copy. I wrote him a little note, ‘Good luck with the copy.’

Lol reports have surfaced to that Mos Def is being sued by photographer Volker Corell for maliciously breaking his camera.
Stories say that he snatched the camera off the photographer's neck, smashed it before leaving with its remains. Corell also claims he has suffered injuries to his hand, during the incident which took place in August.
No means no!!!!!! These photographers need to understand that, as a matter of fact the other day the pap's tried to snap pictures of me walking out of Walmart and I actually did the same thing lol. The difference is I am almost famous and Mos Def has already made it haha (shouts out to Kanye).
Mos Def's album "The Ecstatic" is set to drop on Feburary 9th 2009 so hip-hop heads are going to have to wait. Good news though, you can catch Mos Def in yet another movie "Cadillac Records" where he will be portraying the legendary Chuck Berry, the movie is slated to drop in theatres December 5th.
You can also buy (I know it sounds crazy haha with this day and age) Mos Def single that I posted on my site earlier on Itunes.
The 44th President of the United States is Barack Obama. I am blessed to be alive to witness history, to see what Martin Luther King and Malcolm X were talking about.
Today is the day that you get out and....dont vote lol. Naw I am playing today is the day that you shouldnt have an excuse big enough, to prevent you from exercising your right for your voice to be heard. Please hit the polls today, lines will be astronomical but you knew that when you chose not to early vote lol. Just wait it out so you can play your part in this historic election.
Big shout out to Warren Buffet who probably makes about $250,000 in a second, he has officially endorsed Barack Obama. Keep that in mind when you are the polls today.
From the album "Desire" Monch puts together a collage of images over intense lyrics for this video. If you havent heard this album, please go out and get it. It is one of the most slept on albums in hip-hop.
Tonight I went to a program at my school that opened my mind and eyes to some fears that have bothered me.
So if Barack Obama gets elected what effect is it going to have on the African- American community?
I reference this situation to that of Jay-Z becoming the president of Def Jam Records. Artist were so excited that "one of them" was in a position to finally pull them out from the lack of support the label was giving them. The overall feeling was that Jay-Z was once an artist so he knows and understands the struggle. Why wouldnt my situation get 10x better?
I feel like artist became very relaxed on the label because they felt as if one man was going to come down and save the day. Its almost as if they felt they didnt have to work as hard and the harsh reality slapped alot of artist in the face.
So how does this tie into our future president?
Just like Jay-Z, Barack is only one man. I pray that because he comes into office African-Americans dont relax because they feel as if Barack is going to solve all the worlds ills, as if he is some sort of messiah.
Barack Obama has always promised change, that has been the framework for his whole campaign. The word change in this campaign weighs heavily not only on Obama but every person who calls this country home. We cant throw our problems at his feet expecting everything to be fixed, that what God is for. Change starts from getting out to vote this election where as, history has shown, that its not something that has been very strong within the black community.
The best way to get the change that you want, the change that benefits you the most......is to become the change you want to see. I have no doubt in my heart that Barack Obama will get into office and try his hardest to turn things around. I have no doubt that Barack Obama will try and tackle the corruption that is the government. I have no doubt that Barack Obama will usher in a new regime with hope and peace at the forefront.......but I also hope that everyone knows all these changes cant happen with just him alone.
I pray people dont look to Barack for handouts instead look at the fact that we have the 1st African-American president in office right now, so there is nothing in this world that I can not do. I pray inner city youth can watch tv and become inspired because they see themselves behind that podium speaking on November 5th.
Once again lets all become the change we are looking for and we can all take that 1st step by voting. Lets get Barack into office and change this country one day at a time.
After testing his album title "Kiss My Ass" in the market and not receiving positive feedback, Jada has changed the name to "The Last Kiss". The name of the album has created the rumor that this will be Jada's last album, but all the rumors are put to rest in this video, check it out.
