Nas and Pharrell Speak On Why Rappers Dont Visit Africa More Often
I hope this changes things and more artist go to Africa, because what is perceived is what is believed in this crazy world we are living in. I fully agree with Nas on that, everything is portrayed in a negative light and that scares some ppl away from wanting to visit.
I feel there are Africans who were born here who dont wanna go visit because of stories they have heard. I have no doubt it is hard out there but honestly, its hard out here as well. So either way you have to learn how to adapt and cope. I personally have not been myself but I can not wait till the day I get the opportunity to go back home and see what it is like for myself.
At the same time Nas almost makes it seem like African's look down on African Americans but it actually goes both ways. Across the board communication needs to revamped so there is a sense of pride no matter what side of the continent you reside on. In the end, we all come from the same place.
"Trouble In The Water" Movie Trailer
Just because you don't see it in the news does not mean its still not going on. This is a very powerful documentary and I hope you get a chance to see it.
Vote For "That One"
Man I thought I was losing my mind when I heard McLame say that during last nights debate. That is a grown man who is extremely successful, with a wife and two kids and the only label you have for him is that one?! Sometimes you dont know what to say.........so instead I hired Diddy to speak for me. Tell them how I feel Shiny Suit Man...
