Def Jam Putting In Work For Jadakiss Debut

One of the most skilled lyricist in New York, Jadakiss, is preparing his Def Jam debut album, "Kiss My Ass".

On a label where alot of the artist have complained about lack of promotion and marketing, Def Jam has put Jadakiss at the forefront.

Jadakiss has confirmed that he is only a few songs away from completing his album, but also said he would like to finish his mixtape first. It has been 4 years since Jada released "Kiss of Death"

Appreances from Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne "Death Wish", Jay-Z assisted "Who Run This",Ghostface , Raekwon, Ne-Yo "By Your Side", Avery Storm, Barrington Levy and of course D-Block are all expected to contribute to the album.

Jadakiss plans to release his mixtape, than his LP, then a D-Block compilation entitled "No Security Needed" will all hit the streets. By 2009 Sheek Louch, Styles P, and Jada will release the long awaited LOX  album.

Blueprint 3 Baby On The Way.....

Yep its official, Jigga Man is back in the studio with tentative release date of December 2nd. As you may have already heard Kanye West will serve as executive producer for the album and producing majority of the tracks. "Jockin Jay-Z" will serve as the albums official/non official first single, and that has been making its rounds nationwide. I am excited that there will be a remake to "Swagger Like Us" (check this lineup out) Jay-Z ft Andre 3000, Nas, and Young Jeezy. Could you ask for anything more? I wanna hear 3000 verse cause I know its going to be crazy. This version will be on his album and has already been recorded.

Whatever mindset he was in when he made Blueprint, I hope he is focused like that cause the industry really needs one of those albums right about now.

"Blueprint 3" in stores Dec 2nd

Stream Of Consciousness-Artist Who Should Be Shot At?

Ladies and Gentleman I apologize for keeping you waiting.... Today I will reveal the number one artist who tops the list (once again this is all a joke, so I hope no one catches feelings including the Feds)

Shawty Lo #1

Are you honestly surprised? He has jumped on everyone's track and spit his nursery rhymes to the masses and ppl think that this is okay?! One thing I will give him is that he usually has very good beats (i.e. Foolish, Dey Know). He def takes his fame for granted and if he was not serious about rapping then why even start. These are the lyrics that catapulted him to number one on my list (Gucci Man dodged a bullet on this one but he has the Honorable Mention award)

Gucci Bandanna- Soulja Boy ft Gucci Man and Shawty Lo

"Shawty Lo I really run Atlanta
Scarf around my neck Gucci Bandanna
Niggas talking slick, they filled with ammo
But I dont care so gotdamn you
This big ass watch, cost more than yours
I built a house you can't afford
Its stupid big, got a ocean view
Its way up there, I look down on you
We flex down here, thats what we do
Get in our way, I flex on you
You acting monkey, we keep bananas
Them goons with me, rocking bandanna"

Need I say more.....

To all the artist on this list, please accept this as an intervention meaning I know this hurts but its only about helping you out in the long run lol. There are millions of talented rappers out there who didn't get a chance because someone saw something more in you, so please don't take your position lightly.

Every time you step behind a mic,  try and spit your best lyrics instead of recording your worst freestyles. Next time you want to scream over the track.....don't, maybe just talk and try to have a dictionary in your hand so you can incorporate some new adjectives into your vocabulary. Next time you write a song don't, entitle it "Shawty Got Gifts" or shoot Soul Train in the middle of your bank robbery while telling me to put my hands in the air...

Until next time............ hire a ghostwriter (Skillz or Smitty) haha I'm out.
